Transitando entre lo imaginario y lo real, el libro acompaña a Lana para abrir las puertas de una casa muy especial, donde realizaremos un interesante recorrido por el imaginario de las brujas en distintas épocas, lugares y tradiciones del mundo. Allí nos esperan desde brujas fantásticas como Lilith a mujeres reales como Juana de Arco o las Brujas de Salem.

Este libro ilustrado y editado en cartoné forma parte de La enciclopedia de seres mágicos, al que también pertenece el título Las Hadas, Los Dragones y Los Monstruos. Recorre los personajes más destacados, sus características, tradiciones, antropología e, incluso, ¡sus conjuros! Mientras realiza un guiño con una relectura feminista del movimiento que supuso la caza de estas mujeres insumisas.

Ofrece detalles curiosos que gustarán tanto a mayores como a pequeños. Desde cómo se ha moldeado la apariencia de las brujas a lo largo del tiempo (de la voz seductora a la nariz ganchuda o el color del pelo), a sus fórmulas mágicas y encantamientos, sus utensilios (caldero, escobas o varitas mágicas…) o los animales que las acompañan (desde gatos negros, a cuervos o machos cabríos).

La autora francesa es Cécile Roumiguière, quien también ha publicado junto a Lacombe el álbum La niña silencio.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. Gifts If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
